Samsung To Unveil Galaxy Note7 On August 2nd 2016
Samsung today announced that the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 7 will be launch at August 2nd in New York City at Hammerstein Ballroom. For those of us that wouldn't be there Live, Samsung will be streaming the event Live on there Official website @ www.samsung.com or news.samsung.com/global
For those of you thinking that Samsung does not know how to count 123 by skipping the Galaxy Note 6 then jumping straight to Galaxy Note 7 should as-well know that Samsung already released the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge earlier this year, and Samsung wouldn't want confused would-be customers thinking that the Note 6 was kind of old device.
However, with arch-rival Apple set to reveal what's widely expected to be called the iPhone 7 later this year too, there's no harm in some naming parity there either. It's questionable whether buyers are so easily swayed as to think that a "Note 6" is automatically worse than an "iPhone 7" simply because one has a bigger number, but it's presumably better safe than sorry.
The Galaxy Note 7 oficial specs and functionality have not been leaked much online but the little in hand says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be packing a 5.7-inch screen with curved sides and an iris-scanner for unlocking the phone with a look. A USB-C port, 12-megapixel camera with dual-pixel sensor technology, an f/1.7 lens, phase detection autofocus, and optical image stabilization. 4K video recording is also expected, while the front camera is tipped to be a dual-pixel 5-megapixel example, also with an f/1.7 lens.
